Bennett to employees: "Do not be suckers. Employ the orthodox"

Against the background of growing criticism from the surface, due to his connection with Yair Lapid, Bennett tried to explain how the alliance came about. "A connection developed which was not natural at the beginning. The pressure was to come out of this connection and we persevered – because we gave our word. But I also see an opportunity for achievements in the upcoming budgets and the Arrangements Law. To introduce things everyone knows must be done, but are afraid to do. Not just in combining the ultra-Orthodox, there are other goals which are no less important especially in the economic sphere - social separation of the economy from a small connected group.

"This is something the public does not fully know how we are all paying a heavy price because of the favors of closeness. Second thing is the conversation, what is happening here. Before we go out on exotic acts of decisions, the very connection that opens our eyes and to the general public's eyes to recognize communities we have never met."
