• Six firefighters were extinguishing flammable storage room in a residential building on Zalman Shneur Netanya. Many trapped in the building were evacuated. Four were evacuated by MDA for further medical treatment.
• At 18:37 a car crash occurred between two tractors at the entrance to the village Shibli. 2 injured, including a man of about 25 in serious condition, stable with head injuries and limb injuries, evacuated by helicopter to Rambam and another wounded with extremity injuries evacuated to Haemek Hospital.
• A patrolman from Kiryat Shmona called on suspected burglars at a business named Zil Vezol at the southern industrial area of Kiryat Shmona. He arrived along with another officer. Officer suspected that the burglars had climbed to the roof of the business. When he went up on the roof, the roof collapsed, the officer fell on his head from a height of about 5 feet and was evacuated in severe condition to Ziv Hospital. The officer, Honey Trudy, 40, a patrolman at Kiryat Shmona died of his wounds in hospital. Trudy is married with 3 children, including twins, a boy and a girl aged 13, and a son age 11, resident of village Samia, a patrolman at Kiryat Shmona for the past 20 years. His funeral was held at noon at the Samia village with the chief.
• At 04:03 MDA Lachish received a report that two men and a woman were found stabbed in an apartment in Michsoili St. in Ashdod. Magen David Adom paramedics provided medical care and following resuscitation efforts were forced to determine the death of a man of about 60 and treated a woman about 50 and a man about 30 in apparently easy condition to be evacuated later in hospital. Lachish district police reported that a man in his 40s, apparently deranged, stabbed the 60-year-old father who died of his wounds and wounding his mother and brother seriously. The suspect was arrested.
• At 11:33 MDA reported that a man was found shot in a car uphill from the Rama village of Beit Jann direction. Paramedics MDA report of a 35 year old man shot in the upper body and after attempts at resuscitation determined his death. Carmiel police opened an investigation.
• 11:41 MDA Negev received a report on a nine story residential building on Roded Street in Eilat. Magen David Adom paramedics evacuated a 40 year old woman in serious condition with burns and ventilated to the trauma unit in Yoseftal hospital in the city.
• 15:48 MDA Negev received a report on man in his 50's brought in a private vehicle to the Segev Shalom intersection. Magen David Adom paramedics took him into the trauma unit with stabbing to his upper body, to Soroka Hospital in fair condition. Background to the event is not clear.
• Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Mrs. Sarah Netanyahu attended the evening Maimonah festivities in Ohr Akiva. Netanyahu: "People of Israel eat and be merry! People of Israel pass from matza and bitter herbs to honey. I want to thank the police and security forces who took care to protect and secure the people of Israel who traveled during the holiday."
