Beit Shemesh: turmoil on Nahal Dolev street in Ramat Beit Shemesh, following a demonstration of fanatics against the broadcast of R' Aharon Leib Steinman's speech, across from the Masat Mordecai shull in the neighborhood.

A special shuttle van was hired to bring them to Ramat Beit Shemesh for the event.

The van and its occupants were stoned and one of the demonstrators inside was wounded in the head.

Drives wanted to provide care to the casualty, but were unable to do so due to dozens who gathered and did not allow the removal of the wounded from the vehicle.

An ambulance was called and left the place together with the van and only then was the casualty treated, suffering from a gash in his head. He was taken in a light condition to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.

The shuttle car was taken away along with 10 people riding in it. The passengers were arrested and taken to the Beit Shemesh police station for questioning.
