Residents of Kiryat Vizhnitz Bnei Brak, were amazed this morning (Monday) to see young secular men, cleaning the walls of the Beit Midrash.
The reason: for many years, the Beit Midrash in Kiryat Vizhnitz -Vizhnitz Bnei Brak has not been scrubbed. The beauty and splendor does not often require treatment on its outside walls. But years have passed since the last clean, the time was felt, and there is no better time than Pesach to perform a facelift and renovation.
In the past, they used a company to polish the building which uses heights or lever or with long hoses, but now, the company commissioned to perform the work, operates professionals who climb the outside walls for cleaning.
The curious residents of Bnei Brak watched the workers hanging out of a lever mounted on the roof of the Beit Midrash, belted in thick ropes, and on their hips a bucket of cleaning materials, brushes and cloths. Manual work is slow but thorough, the shine returned to the stones which had turned yellow over the years, and the place looks like new.
The cleaning was carried out for the second Seder which the Vizhnitz Rebbe carries out at the Beit Midrash, after ten years when no Seder was held by the Rebbe the Yeshuot Moshe of Vizhnitz zt"l due to illness. It should be noted that the events of Hasidism are held in a special hall near the Beit Midrash, and only the Seder is held at the hall.
