Locusts in the lowest place in the world • Spraying mission in the morning

The agricultural sector of Kibbutz Ein Gedi, reported a swarm of locusts in their area. Kibbutz stated that the subject is treated in accordance with the Ministry of Agriculture.

As for tonight the centers identified three swarms, Nachal Lavan, western and southern side of the river Habashor and a third swarm appeared in the region near the village Lahav.

After the bands will land on the ground, they will be mapped, and accordingly will decide on the treatment. By the expectation they will be sprayed by aircraft.

Ministry officials check the situation in Ein Gedi, after receiving reports of a swarm which is in the region.

Ministry of Agriculture repeat, individual items that come to different parts around the country do not bother and certainly are not harmful to humans. Locusts damage the crops only when in large swarms.
