Hgray"l: "Lapid is an evil man who grew up with an evil father!"

Tonight (Wednesday), after learning about the nature of the emerging government, Knesset members of Degel HaTorah, Moshe Gafni, Uri Maklev and Yaakov Asher were quick to go to the home of Hgray"l Steinman to update him on the events and receive his advice and blessing.

"We were in the opposition in the past and didn’t cry," Opened Hgray"l and said to them, "But now every Orthodox Jew cries because he is persecuted."

"Coalition, opposition - all this is not that important, as long as they'll let us live our lives. They want to see who is learning and who is not, to recruit him. They do not care that he wants to remain Orthodox, how can someone remain Orthodox with all they have in the army?"

We would like to educate them. We want them to be like their grandparents. Instead, they want to educate us, to cut us off from our past.

"For many years we have proven that our education works, they in so few years failed in the education given to their children. By us there is no teacher who is afraid to come to his class, because there is respect for the older generation which we want to belong to. By them their main thing is the younger generation, so they crush and kill the older ones."

Hgray"l Steinman asked members of the Knesset to continue the coordination and cooperation between the parties, Yahadut Hatorah and Shas, and then burst into tears, saying that "especially in a period of flowering of the Torah world, when many are approaching Judaism, then Satan intervened."

But it seems that the punch line which he said, the Orthodox MKs will never forget. "Lapid is an evil man who grew up with an evil father!" he finished off by telling them.
