It was agreed: threshold will rise to four percent

Parties that manage the coalition negotiations, agreed to raise the threshold of four percent.

Alongside the agreement continues the debate over the appointments. Naftali Bennett takes the chairmanship of the Finance Committee, to compensate for reducing the number of ministers of the government party.

This request came despite the chair of the committee is actually one of the basic requirements of Yesh Atid. But Habayit Hayehudi decided to require the Commission following the decision to give the finance portfolio to Lapid and not Bennett.

Habayit Hayehudi officials said that "to meet our promise of economic reforms and discharge concentration we have the ability to break barriers in and the committee is the tool for it."

It also intensifies the struggle for the education portfolio. "Likud manages a campaign on top of Shai Piron. We will insist on the portfolio," say sources at Yesh Atid.

In an attempt to resolve the dispute a rotation was offered between Likud and Yesh Atid, so Shai Peron and Gideon Saar will divide up the priesthood for Minister of Education, but the proposal was rejected by Yesh Atid.
