In the coming day: Hgrb"m Ezrachi will undergo open heart surgery

Concern in the Yeshiva world: Rabbi Baruch Mordechai Ezrachi, Rosh Yeshiva Ateret Yisrael, and a member of Council of Torah Sages of Degel HaTorah, is expected to undergo open heart surgery tonight or tomorrow.

Yesterday (Monday), Hgrb"m underwent tests at Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem. During the tests the doctors decided that the Rosh Yeshiva must undergo heart catheterization. Angiography results indicated that the Rosh Yeshiva must undergo urgent open heart surgery.

As was reported here - the B'Chadrei Charedim site - Hgrb"m was taken to the hospital, Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, for the purpose of surgery.

These hours Hgrb"m is preparing for surgery which will be held tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10:00 am. Surgery will be performed by Professor Ehud Ra'anani.

Hgrb"m's students have organized prayer rallies.

Tomorrow Hgrb"m was supposed to be sandek at the eldest son's bris of his faithful household member, Yaakov Grossbard.

The public is called to pray for the complete recovery of Rabbi Baruch Mordechai Ben Hinda Malka.
