Man of chessed collapsed at his daughter's Henna - and died

Tragedy: Rishon Lezion, at the age of 55, Rabbi Yom Tov Yehuda Mader z"l who ran the organization of distributing food to the needy, passed away • in middle of the 'henna' of his oldest daughter, held for the upcoming wedding next Monday, suffered a cardiac arrest

Tragedy in Rishon Lezion: on Sunday night the activist Rabbi Yom Tov Yehuda Madar z"l died suddenly at the age of 55.

The deceased, died in the middle of the henna celebration for his eldest daughter, whose wedding was expected to take place on Monday next week. Suddenly, in the middle of the celebration, he suffered a cardiac arrest, collapsed - and returned his soul to its Creator.

The late Rabbi Madar was active in a food distribution organization for needy families in Rishon Lezion and outside. One of his associates told B'Chadrei Charedim: "There is no man in Rishon Lezion who did not know Rabbi Yehuda Mader. He was full of dignity and respected, always running to raise funds for the organization he operated.

He was a member of the Shaarei Ephraim shul of Rabbi Moshe Nachshoni, and belonged to the orthodox community.

Funeral procession left last night (Monday) attended by many residents of the city, who bereaved the passing of the man of chessed that left no successor to take upon him the burden of the factory he set up.

The funeral left his home on Kook Street in Rishon Lezion – to the city's old cemetery, where he was laid to rest next to his father z"l.
