The taxi driver came to comfort: "I wish I could have died instead of the young couple"

The taxi driver who drove the couple Nachman and Raizy Glauber z"l to the hospital, and was involved in the accident in Williamsburg which cost them their lives, arrived at the end of the week to comfort the family.

The driver talked to the family and referred to the tragedy: "I am sad and sorry. I wish I could have dies instead of the young couple. I also have a pregnant wife and three children."

The family encouraged him: "Go on with your life, it was the will of G-d, you are not to blame for what happened."

Last Thursday Julio Acevedo, the BMW driver, was accused at the Supreme Court in Brooklyn, as held responsible for the deaths of the Glauber couple for leaving them at the criminal scene of the accident and other offenses.
