Hebron: Hamas' military infrastructure exposed in the city

ISA under the IDF's aid, revealed in recent months Hamas's military infrastructure in Hebron, whose members planned terrorist activities by Hamas activist who was deported to the Gaza Strip within the Shalit deal, and they planned out different attacks, but were arrested before they could carry out their plans. A pipe bomb, prepared for the attack, was extradited.

General Security Service interrogation of members of the network, most of which have been activists in local military squads of Hamas in Hebron, indicated that they intended to carry out attacks of different kinds, including a combined attack of bombs and shootings at an IDF post near the city.

Central detainees of the infrastructure are: Manjad Musa Diab G'onidi, 23, from Hebron. Served as a squad head and recruiting. He admitted that was in contact with Basal Heimoni, a Hamas activist from Hebron. Mohammad Hassan Rajab Abu Shach'idm, aged 25, from Hebron, and Annass Rateb Ahmad Dwik, 23, from Hebron.

In recent months, indictments were submitted to the Judea Military Court against members of the network which attributes to them offenses of membership in an illegal organization, conspiracy to voluntary manslaughter, possession, carrying and weapons production, manufacturing volatile objects and introducing money to the enemy area.

It should be noted that the exposure of infrastructure highlights the potential threat arising from the Hamas infrastructure in the West Bank, especially in light of the connection to Hamas in the Gaza Strip. In this context it should be noted the arrest of Fadi Abd al-Hakim Avad Alohab Abu Daud, a resident of Hebron about 25, admitted that he had recruited in Saudi Arabia by Khaled Taha, freed prisoner of 'Shalit deal', originally from Hebron, who was deported to Gaza.

Khaled Taha instructed Abu Daud to establish a link, which will carry out attacks of suicide and shooting, and promised to send him, for this purpose, weapons smuggled from Gaza to the West Bank.
