Drunk? Chivas employees, poured thousands of gallons of whiskey

Employees at the Chivas whiskey manufacturer, in Scotland are responsible for the mishap which cost thousands of gallons of whiskey, it was reported today (Monday) on the BBC.
According to the report, workers in the factory were wrong to think that the liquid waste is waste, and poured it directly into the sewer, unfortunately for the Scots. The company emphasized that whiskey has not reached the river near the factory escort, or other water source.
The mistake occurred last week when, during the night shift workers cleaned the equipment factory in Dumbarton. The error was discovered when the city cleaners reported a strong smell coming from the sewers.
Meanwhile, it is unknown what kind of whiskey among the many kinds at the Chivas company, was spilled, and what is the financial damage.
Chivas spokeswoman, which is the world's second largest whiskey manufacturer, Jennifer Stevenson, said that reports show that 18,000 gallons of whiskey was dumped were exaggerated, but she refused to say how many quarts were spilled.
Water Authority of Scotland said that the problem could disrupt the wastewater treatment process and the authority is now exploring how to prevent the damage.
