A stabbing incident against Harav Hamekubal Haim Cohen - "the milkman": Yesterday (Sunday) morning one of the mispalelim in the shull pulled out a knife and tried to stab the Rav. Mispalelim who were at the place defended the Rav and prevented the disaster.

During his interrogation, the suspect, known to the police, said that the Rav does not want to "remove a kishuf" that exists in him and therefore he wanted to stab him. The court extended his detention. The suspect's attorney, Sandy Almogi, argued that her client does not admit charges against him and should be released, but the judge did not accept her claims.

Mispalelim said that initially he caused disorder in the place, pulled out a knife and approached the Rav shouting that he was going to kill him. At the last moment he was pushed awat.

This event comes after two years ago Rabbi Elazar Abuhatssira, called "Baba Elazar" was murdered. The killer who confessed was Asher Dahan, resident of Elad used to come and be blessed by the Rav, but he is unfit to stand trial.

Harav Haim Cohen is the last of the group of Mekubalim who operated between 5720-5730. For his living, he works until today at the dairy in Tel Aviv, and his appearance is unlike other Orthodox rabbis. In addition to his blessings, there are those who believe in his political and economic predictions.
