Hgr"o Yosef: "My son Yaakov is very sick - let's pray"

Significant deterioration in the condition of Rabbi Yaakov Yosef, son of Hgr"o Yosef, it was informed by Hgr"o during the weekly sermon on Motzei Shabbos. Hgr"o asked to participate in a prayer which will be held this week for his recovery.

Rabbi Yaakov Yosef became ill two years ago with a malignant disease and was treated in hospital. His condition has known ups and downs, but he still tried to continue his lessons and his busy schedule.

In recent days there has been a serious setback in his health, and therefore a prayer rally is being organized dedicated to his recovery at the Western Wall, on Monday at 16:00 pm, with Rabbi Shlomo Amar.

During Hgr"o's evening sermon, he said: "My dear son Rabbi Yaakov Chai ben Margalit is in serious condition. I ask the public to pray for his speedy recovery. He teaches a lot of Torah and many need him. Also, whoever can is asked to attend the prayer rally which will be held at the Western Wall. "

During the shiur, Hgr"o reminded Pesach at the entrance, and stressed that community rabbi's should currently be well absorbed laws of Pesach, so they know what to answer.
