Bennett: "the window of opportunity for integrating ultra-Orthodox into society has closed"

Habayit Hayehudi Party Chairman, Naftali Bennett appeared tonight (Wednesday), before the party conference held in the International Convention Center in Jerusalem.

In his speech, he said that "the ball" is with the Prime Minister. He has to decide whether to listen to the voice of the people or we will miss the size of the event. Whether this is a government of opportunities or the government of missed opportunities."

He noted that he has now created a window of opportunity to act on the integration of the ultra-Orthodox into society, and called on Prime Minister Netanyahu to take this opportunity, before it will be closed.

"For many decades there was a natural partnership between us, but during the last campaign we were attacked with brutal force. Something in our partnership unraveled but it's not too late to repair," added Bennett.

He added: "We came to serve the people of Israel in any way - the coalition or the opposition.

"It will not be a disaster if Habayit Hayehudi will not be in the government. Portfolios and roles will not buy us, just their way will determine.

"If the new government aimed an assault on the true issues of Israel - we face as a loyal partner, but if the intention is only to buy more time – we will not be there and it's not a disaster."
