Those suspected of involvement in the Modesty Brigade in Beitar Illit, were released to house arrest: Magistrates Court in Rishon Lezion released today (Sunday) to house arrest under restrictive conditions, including exclusion from the city, Nissim Gonen Haddad for 15 days, and Ezra Devora for 12 days.
The two are suspected of committing crimes of assault, kidnapping, imprisonment and threats against civilians according to their worldview whoever violated the religious character of the streets and buses in Beitar Illit.
The two were banned entry to Betar Illit for 30 days, and contacting those involved in the case, the prohibition to leave the country for 180 days, and depositing their passport to the office investigative unit.
To ensure compliance with the above conditions, they were required to post bail of 50,000 ₪ and two third party guarantees of NIS 50,000 – for all of the suspects.Suspicion: Running the Modesty Brigade in Beitar Illit
Nissim Hadad was responsible for at-risk youth club in the city, and sometimes held city tours to eliminate problems resulting from the phenomenon of dropout.
In recent years, the youngsters who belong to the dropout youth in a city claimed that the treatment led by Hadad is aggressive, and sometimes even violent.
Because of this, police conducted a blade unit for several months' of undercover investigation, which involves suspicion of violent crimes and other offenses. It is suspected that Mayor Meir Rubinstein was aware of Hadad's violence.
