Security detainees died in prison • Shabbos events

• Palestinian armed with a knife was detained by IDF at Habitot junction on Shabbos. In another incident at the worshiper's axis a Palestinian was detained for stone throwing. Investigated at Hebron police.

• A police car from the Binyamin police station was called to a stone throwing event by Palestinians towards the Beit El settlement. The police treated the incident and when they returned they found that one of the car wheels was punctured. The car was in the village of Beit El.

• An investigation was opened for the destruction of the Palmer monument at Chalchul bypass.

• On Friday night at 00:06 MDA at Lachish region was informed about a young man who was injured during a fight on Zur Ephraim in Ashkelon. MDA Paramedics provided medical care and evacuated to Barzilai a young man of about 20 in serious condition with a head injury.
• At 04:00 MDA Ayalon received a report of two men stabbed during a fight on Zvi Horowitz Street in Rechovot. MDA medics provided medical care and evacuated two wounded two 30 years old to Kaplan, one in serious condition and one in fair condition. Three suspects were detained for questioning. Background checked.

• At 07:45 MDA Gilboa received a report of a man who was injured in the head during a nature party at Mount Gilboa. Since there was no access to the area, Magen David Adom paramedics arrived on foot to the patient by way of 3 km and gave him medical treatment at the scene whilst he was in vague recognition. A military helicopter was dispatched to rescue the evacuated to Rambam the injured man in his 30's whilst anesthetized and ventilated. This is a party with about 1000 youngsters, DJ and four others were detained for questioning. Organizer fled. Identity known.
• At 13:14 MDA Ayalon received a report of a motorcycle rider who was hit by a vehicle on Jerusalem Street in Bat Yam. Magen David Adom paramedics provided medical treatment and evacuated to Wolfson a man of about 50 in serious condition with chest and abdominal injuries.

• Megiddo Prison security detainee died, apparently of a heart attack. MICU team dispatched to the scene performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation without success and pronounced him dead. This is Arafat Shalish Shaheen Gradat, born in January 1983, a resident of Sair near Hebron. Arafat was arrested Shin Bet interrogation on February 18, 2013 as evidence of investigations in his village which was to have been involved in stone throwing attack near Kiryat Arba, in which he injured an Israeli. Gradat admitted. Before his arrest and during interrogation, it was known that Gradat suffers from back pain and that he previously injured his left leg by rubber bullets and tear gas in the stomach. During the investigation he was examined several times by a doctor. Tests did not detect any medical problems and interrogation continued. Immediately after his death, the Israel Police opened investigation into the circumstances of the death. Notification was given to his family.
• After Shabbos, at Hinton junction a 32-year-old resident of Kfar Manda was stabbed by another young 23 year-old resident of the village, following a personal dispute. Patient was transferred to hospital in serious condition. Attacker fled but was arrested a short time later by police Misgav with a knife. In addition his father and brother were arrested on suspicions they helped him escape, suspects will be brought tomorrow to court to extend detention.

• This morning a local resident of Nahariya age 41 was stabbed in the stomach, with no criminal record. He was evacuated to hospital in fair condition. Four locals in their 30s, known to the police were arrested. Background checked.
• 21-year-old was released from Ramat Gan police station, after being delayed following a traffic violation. Once released, he returned to the station and attacked the dispatcher, kicked and cursed him. The attacker was arrested. Dispatcher was not hurt.

• At approximately 12:00 a man of about 50 drowned behind the rock breakwater at the beach in Bat Yam. He was rescued by the naval staff when exhausted and evacuated to Wolfson in mild condition.
