In an pinionated article sponged with sharp criticism Chairman of the Institute for the Junction Rabbi Yisrael Rosen validated the ones who think that you can impose recruitment on the Yeshiva world or force them to implement the core curriculum in the haredi educational institutions, subject to economic sanctions.
The article appears in this morning's issue, the Junction, saturated with lethal messages and piercing thoughts, placing the national religious public in the correct light turning back to his Orthodox brother.
"As of this writing," writes Rabbi Rosen, "It seems that the biggest hurdle to form a coalition government is recruitment of the orthodox outline. In my eyes it is surreal, absurd and ... Purim like. This is a subject of par excellence, on which the Israeli government will stand or fall like the Persian Haman decrees which have been abolished from the world, and we are in New Zealand, the Canary Islands or the planet Jupiter. Even if the critical issue is called 'equality of burden', and alongside recruitment integration into the labor force – we will still remain surreal, filled with ade lo yada and lack of national proportion."
"My words are directed primarily against the leaders of Habayit Hayehudi, where I live. I shall say my opening sentence: the discussion is not our concern to the political - coalition aspect and we are involved in a quarrel that does not concern us. Even if we win the poker negotiations conducted during the time of writing, we will still go bald on either side, indoors and outdoors. If we offer our outline we will not be embraced on either side, and within that we will sway between the more liberal wing and the nationalistic ultra-Orthodox, and other such fights ahead of us."
"Our position on this issue should be heard clearly in the ideological and social field, and there only. Religious political Zionism (hereinafter "we" namely: Habayit Hayehudi and Ichud Leumi) to take a neutral stand; let them sort it out themselves and what will be agreed between them - we accept politically. We are not currently in a situation of 'educating the Haredim', and if the Supreme Court threw a stone - they'll manage without us. This is akin to not join the coalition until the Haredim adopt the core curriculum."
"I'll smash a convention that we grew up on it; I do not know who coined the slogan that the religious - National community is a bridge between Haredi and secular. This is being made primarily to pat ourselves on our shoulders:"We are the bridge that connects between the parties", "we can bring outreach opinions" and similar statements reassuring - proud like these. Statements are heard mostly or only among speakers of our camp, and it seem the head of the bridge on both sides do not adopt this statement. Indeed, if you mean being 'bridge' is that we are planted in the middle, and we have a 'word' with the Orthodox and with traditional and secular – then it is affordable. Indeed we are there; we believe the combination of Torah and state, Judaism and nationalism, religion and democracy, the laws of God and human rights - a wonderful unique complexity. But if you mean the password 'Bridge' to the status of a bridge that can mediate between the parties - not true. We get about with everyone, and parts of us feel close from here or there, but we cannot motivate them to manage between them.
"Obviously, we have our clear matter regarding the recruitment and integration into the labor force and in general, the knitted yarmulkes in the military will prove in every area of our lives! I support wholeheartedly and wholeheartedly integration philosophy, but we cannot impose our view on the Haredi community, and I suggest not doing so using political power. And I have hinted that the self scale 'our' extends from charda"l 'to' light 'toward secularism."
"Hence the direct political statement connection with the Union called Bennett - Lapid. As of this writing is appears, firmness, and serves as the multiplication of power and empowerment seats, and two are better than one." In tactical calculated exchange political and risk capital market - it sounds successful (as of this writing). Conversely, if the Union points to the shared content, except interest, then the Layout recruitment or equal burden 'are correct platform., and so far I have not heard any other background of this alliance; Do Bennett-Lapid agree to the eclipse political issue of peace and security or have they coordinated economic policy and rationing budget? As well as other issues vastness of 'religion and state' – are they are included in the Union? It seems that the Union focuses only on joint 'enemy', which refuses to bear the burden. I don’t like the sound of it.
Therefore, the stand guard, we remain at a neutral against this fight. Let Lapid work it out with the Orthodox, and we will respond Amen! Anyway the solution is not values but the curvy formula, squaring a circle or rounding a triangle. And I have already written in this section that I do not see any way to integrate Arabs in the burden, nor a quota since it is impossible for Roshei Yeshivas to discuss these kinds of things and reject people for life."
"These words are written on Purim, and associatively I remembered the verse which concludes the Book of Esther in which Mordechai said the Jew was" desirable most of his brothers, and all his brothers, teaches interpreted from some of the Sanhedrin "(Megillah p, b). Rashi explains:" By canceling from Torah and entered for power ", i.e. national service and responsibility to the people. These retirees probably remember a juvenile misdemeanor of the studies 'core' and languages: "Bigsan and Seresh spoke a foreign language ... and they were not consciously aware that Mordechai knew seventy languages."
