Status in Facebook has led to an arrest: A youngster of 29, from Petah Tikva, wrote on his Facebook a sharp line of statuses and was arrested by the police.
"On Rosh Chodesh Adar, we will destroy the leftists, including Yair Lapid and his friends and we'll hang them as we hung Haman and his sons," he wrote. "If people like that are sitting in the Knesset we have to remove the Magen David from the flag and put a swastika in its place which is more typical of this country."
In his investigation he said: "I'm allowed to express my opinion."
The police treated the matter harshly and last night detectives of the crime-fighting unit arrived at his house and took him in for questioning. The investigation revealed that the youngster was previously involved in the 'price tag' events and therefore it was decided not to release him.
In the afternoon, the young man was brought for a hearing in his case in the Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court, where the judge extended his detention until Sunday.
