ezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, took off from Lebanon and arrived in Iran for the purpose of tests and treatments for cancer with which he was diagnosed.

A Lebanese opposition website, which takes the line against the Shiite organization, published yesterday (Sunday) that Hassan Nasrallah has cancer and had to fly to Iran to undergo treatments.

According to the site "Sawt Beirut International", leader of the Lebanese organization was taken by a special presidential plane to Tehran. The report, whose degree of credibility is not certain, quoted sources "close to Hezbollah," who argued that the transfer of Nasrallah to Iran was carried out during the last two days, after his health deteriorated.
However, it did not specify exactly what his condition is.

The sources also claimed that Nasrallah had already begun to think about "the day after", and already holds consultations with his associates to determine the identity of the next Secretary General. One of the names raised in the report is the deputy, Naim Qassem, but said that there is disagreement within the organization around the issue.

The report has no verification from other sources.
