A blog owner in London was forced to delete dozens of comments by surfers who apparently harmed the name of Rabbi Chaim Halpern.
This comes after the court in London ordered by court order the Internet giant, Google, to reveal the details of screen names that have written posts on the Halperin case and published on the blog.
In a statement issued with the blog it reads: "Some writers have received legal advice from us and as a result, some of the responses which dealt with the Rabbi Halperin saga have been removed from this blog."
They noted in the statement that "it will be difficult to erase the comments dealt with the case, since there are many. We'll try to erase those that are problematic."
Last day rumors spread that due to legal process they will close, but they made it clear: "We're not going anywhere." There is no law in the world that will prevent us to publish the hypocrisy of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations in London. We will continue to publish comments like this, but due to legal constraints, editing will be more intense than before. "
With this, the Beis Din assembled to hear the allegations against Rabbi Halperin are expected to meet for the second time in two weeks to continue to collect evidence. The hope of all parties involved in the case is that until Pesach there will be the final decision.
