Baruch Dayan Haemes: The Kabbalist Rabbi Yosef Schwartz zt"l passed away this morning (Monday) at the age of 78 in Netanya. He was known by all as the 'grandfather from Netanya'.
He was one of the greatest influencers in the last generation; thousands knocked on his door begging for salvation and were redeemed through his blessings. He used to strengthen couples and boys in distress and gave answers and help to those in need.
His disciples say that teenage boys and girls would come to seek his advice, and he treated them all like his own children. He invested time and effort in rescuing girls who were connected to Arabs, and then married them off.
The deceased was one of the disciples of the Kehilas Yaakov – Reb Yaakov Yisrael Kanievsky zt"l.
The funeral will leave today (Monday) at 13:00 from the shul on Rothenberg Street in Netanya, and will arrive at 14:00 at the cemetery.
