The public will choose: which logo will accompany Obama's visit?

Three different logo proposals were posted today (Sunday) to the Facebook page of Israeli Prime Minister, and the public was asked to choose the official logo to accompany the 'Unbreakable Alliance' - the operation name selected for the U.S. president's visit to Israel.

Various options were designed by graphic artists selected by the SP in the spirit of unity between Israel and the United States.

The public will choose the official logo by pressing LIKE whilst the logo which wins the highest number of LIKES in the next 48 hours, will be elected as the official logo of the operation 'Unbreakable Alliance'. Voting ends on Tuesday at 16:00.

According to estimates, hundreds of journalists from around the world are expected to arrive in Israel with Obama, and a media center opened for them in Jerusalem. Coverage of the visit will focus on the use of social networks and citizen involvement, as in choosing the official logo.

This morning the ministers heard a review on preparations for the visit of U.S. President Barack Obama in Israel, from the National Security Council head Maj. Gen. (res.) Yaakov Amidror.

General noted in the review that the main themes of the visit will focus on the political - defense field – led by the Iranian nuclear program, the situation in Syria, and efforts to resume negotiations with the Palestinians.

Amidror added that in light of the international interest in the visit, effort will be made to present the development of the Hi - tech industry.
