Drug dealing affair shakes Beitar Illit, the city of Torah and Chassidus in the Judean Mountains: On Monday last week five suspected drug traffickers were arrested, including two brothers, Orthodox residents.

After the arrest of suspected dealers, 15 'clients' were detained, who allegedly bought the drugs from the five detainees. During the interrogation the consumers connected themselves to the allegations, and admitted making multiple purchases from dealers detainees.

Out of all detained for questioning on suspicion of drug use, you can find a sofer, a mother of 7 children and a school director.

This affair has opened so far 14 drug trafficking cases, and 15 cases of drug use.

All material in the case was transferred to the SJ District claims to file charges against the suspects in drug trafficking.

Tomorrow (Monday) a hearing will be held at noon at Jerusalem Magistrate's Court against three suspects in drug trafficking.
