For 101 years, the daily routine of the eldest Rosh Yeshiva, the Rosh Yeshiva of Torah Ohr, Hagaon Harav C.P. Sheinberg, did not change in the least.
His routine was combined of learning, delving in Limud and Hasmoda in Toras Hashem.
A short while after his Ptirah, Behadrey Haredim presents his full daily routine, from which one can learn how one becomes a "Gadol":

This was the way the Rosh Yeshiva zt"l organized his day:
The eldest of Roshei Yeshivos, Hagaon Harav C.P. Sheinberg, used to get up each morning (at sunrise) in his home on 2 Panim Me'irot st. to daven Vasikin. After davening, he would have his breakfast.
9:00: Arrived at Torah Ohr Yeshiva on 3 Sorotzkin st. and gave a Shiur in Mishnah Brurah to the Israeli Bochurim at the Yeshiva.
9:30: Turned to his study room in the Yeshiva, where he would learn Masheches Nida – his favorite Masheches. In the morning hours the Bochurim would come to consult with him in matters of Shiduchim.
13:00: Came to the Amud to serve as a Shatz for Mincha.
13:30: Returned home to each lunch, which his Talmidim would prepare in turns – and took a nap.
16:00: Tens of people would come to his reception.
18:30: End of reception.
19:00: Returned to the Yeshiva – gave a Shiur to the American Bochurim, when in the winter the Bochurim would come to hear the Shiur at the Rosh Yeshiva's home.
19:30: Came to the Amud to serve as Shatz for Ma'ariv.
20:00: Dinner at home.
From time to time, Hagaon R' C. P, would go out to Simchas of his descendants and Talmidim. Afterwards he would return to continue his daily routine – when at midnight he would go to sleep for the night, which lasted until daylight.
His close ones: his son, Harav Simcha Sheinberg and Harav Sendi Sofer, who lives close by to Harav Sheinberg zt"l – and merited a special love from the Rosh Yeshiva. Everything at the Rosh Yeshiva's home was decided according to them.
In the evening and night hours, the Bochur Yehudah Salomon, from the Talmidim of Torah Ohr, would be at his side to help him.
The driver: Harav Asa Vito, who has served in this task for over forty years – and continued devotedly despite his medical condition.
