A short while after midnight (Sunday), a report of a man who lost his conscience during a Drosha he gave at the Sheva Brochos of his grandson, at a hall in the Admor Migur st. in Bnei Brak, was received.
The Hatzolah volunteers who hastened to the place, started with life saving actions which lasted for a long time.
After more than a whole hour, a doctor verified his death.
The young couple were married last week. After the wedding, the father of the Chosson's father was niftar, and Sunday night R' Menachem Ibenboim z"l from Chazor, the Chosson's mother's father was niftar, who was. as mentioned, in the middle of a Drosha to those partaking in the simcha.
Harav Ibenboim, one of the important Chassidim of Gur, was a Talmid Chochom. He died of cardiac arrest in the middle of Sheva brochos to his grandson – the son of his son-in-law R' Yitzchak Feller from Ashdod, the head of the Gur institutions in Arad. Eight hours of learning a day
Harav R' Menachem Mendel Ibenboim z"l was born in Israel on the 26th Sivan , 1940, to his father Mordechai and his mother Naomi.
He was one of the first Gurer Chassidim who settled the Chassidish neighborhood of Chazon Haglilit, a warm and hearty Jew, who would smile to everyone, of noble traits.
During the Yom Kippur war, he fought at the forefront for a few months and could not return home, and only a Brocha which he got from the Beis Yisroel, the Gurer Rebbe zt"l that he will return home safely – calmed him.
He was careful to learn for eight hours a day, and so he managed to complete the Daf Hayomi four times round.
He left a Dor Yeshorim- seven children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His levaya left today (Monday) at 11:00 am from the Moshe Yosel Shtible of Chassidei Gur in Bnei Brak.
May his soul be cherished for eternal life.
