The eldest of Roshei Yeshivos, Hagaon R' Chaim Pinchas Sheinberg, Rosh Yeshivas Torah Ohr, was evacuated a few minutes before Shabbos from home, to the Sha'arei Tzedek hospital in Jerusalem.
Harav Sheinberg, 101 years old, was evacuated in a very serious condition, and was hospitalized with renal problems.
During last night (Motzaei Shabbos) a further deterioration was reported, when an infection was discovered in his blood.
In his room are two doctors who were next at his bedside throughout Shabbos.
In the Torah centers and Yeshivos there are constant Tefillos for his recovery, and in his Yeshiva Torah Ohr – shifts are being held for saying Tehillim.
The Tzibur is called upon to daven for R' Chaim Pinchas ben Yosefa for Refuah Shleima, among all the ill of Yisroel.
