Baruch Dayan Hae'mes: in Flatbush on Erev Shabbos, the great donor Harav Shlomo Gross z"l, died suddenly after a heart attack.
He was 50 years old.
His acquaintances tell of a rich Jew, lover of charity and Chessed, who was one of the biggest supporters of the Torah world over the last years.
He had a special love of donating to the upkeep of Yeshivos.
As someone who was close to Hagaon Harav Shteinman, he was harnessed to support his Yeshiva Orchos Torah, as well as to the transport fund of the Chinuch Atzmai.
His levaya left last night (Motzai Shabbos, USA time) on its way to be buried in Eretz Yisroel.
May his soul be cherished for eternal life.
