The battle over "Derech Mehadrin" continues

Yoshev Rosh Vaad of the Yishuv Meiron, Mordechai Halperin sent a letter to the Ministry of Religion: "Derec h Mehadrin is owned by us and it is our right to designated it for use by men only."

Because of pressure from a group of reform women, the Ministry of Religious Affairs legal department was forced to publish a written letter announcing that the “Mehadrin Way” in Meiron will be open to women.
