Yesterday (Sunday) after midnight, a young Jewish man of about 20 was beaten during a robbery - violently, in Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn.
A documentation of a security camera shows a man dressed in a hoodie attacking a man with a kippa with at least four punches, knocking him back and forth on the sidewalk until he surrendered. At this point, he turns to rummage through the clothes of the robbed man with another person helping him.
The robbery occurred yesterday at 00:50 on 809 Avenue M, one block away from the Central Synagogue Landau. According to police, the robber approached the Haredi man from the back, punched him and knocked him to the floor. JP website reported that the robbers stole from the resident of Brooklyn a wallet and iPhone, he was treated by Hatzala and was taken to Rambam Hospital when his condition is stable and good.
New York police and volunteers of Hashomrim Boro Park combed the area to locate the suspects of the robbery and assaulting a Jew.
