14 wounded in run-over attack at Bridge of Chords in Jerusalem

Run over attack in Jerusalem: Fourteen people were wounded, the terrorist was shot and was killed.
Investigation of the incident revealed that the terrorist, a resident of East Jerusalem, arrived with a private vehicle at Herzl Blvd. from the direction of Rabin Blvd. at the Bridge of Chords in the city. Arriving at a bus stop in Herzl Blvd. – he came up with the vehicle on the pavement and ran over civilians who were waiting there.
A security officer, civilian and security guard who saw the attack - fired fast and accurate at the terrorist before he could get out to the citizens - and neutralized him. An axe was found beside the body of the terrorist in the car, with which he apparently planned to continue the attack.
Fourteen people were wounded, including a 65 year old woman and a toddler of about a half year old who were moderately wounded. The rest were lightly injured. At the trauma unit at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital are five people who were slightly injured, aged 13, 18, 18, 37, 43, Shaare Zedek has opened an information center with the number 1255125. The terrorist is Abdul al-Mohsen Hasona (21) in Beit Hanina.
"I saw two wounded avrechim'
"I took a taxi on Herzl Boulevard, and then noticed a car which collided with the station," said Ziki Frank, an eyewitness. "I paid the driver and walked out immediately, as I heard the sound of gunfire in the incident. I saw two yeshiva students who were wounded and taken to hospital."
"The terrorist's car crashed powerfully at the first stop, but just before he hit the water hose. The police moved the vehicle to the road, and the water pipe got the entire arena wet."
Moshe Teitelbaum, CEO of Union Hatzalah who was in the arena said: "When I got to the scene, I gave together with volunteers from the motorcycle unit of Union Hatzalah primary health care to the child and his mother, and the number of pedestrians hit by the vehicle. There were gunshots on the scene too. The total casualties who suffered bruises and injuries were treated at the scene while fully conscious."
Jerusalem District Police Commander noted the fighters who killed the terrorist "their rapid and accurate actions to neutralize the terrorist prevented a greater attack".
Senior medic with MDA Moshe Eichel who was the first at the scene said: "I was standing on the other side of the road when I heard gunshots and immediately crossed the street to the scene, I saw a car on the sidewalk adjacent to the bus station. Inside the station and next to it lay a number of casualties suffering from bruising and bleeding limbs. I notified the MDA center of the event and with a large force of MDA which arrived we provided medical care and evacuated the wounded to hospitals in Jerusalem."
