Operation ended: 6 arrested in Brussels

The operation ended in Brussels: in an operation which was carried out by government forces in the capital of Belgium, 6 suspects were caught tonight (Monday).

According to local media reports, 6 suspected terrorists were arrested during raids in the night. They are suspected of direct involvement in the attack in Paris. According to the report the wanted terrorist from Paris, Salam Abed al-Salam, was not found.

Army forces raided last night the hotel "Radisson Blue" in the center of Brussels, and asked its guests to stay indoors in their rooms.

Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel added a special message to his people and said that the country's alert level would remain at level 4, the highest alert level.

Because of the state of preparedness, schools, educational institutions and subway lines will remain closed tomorrow.

The Prime minister said: "We fear a serious and immediate threat. We fear an attack similar to the one that was in Paris by a couple of people who performed several attacks at the same time on many sites, mainly in shopping centers, shops and public transport."
