Watch: ZAKA trained in Belgium

In view of the violent attacks which took place on Friday night in France and in view of the increasing threats of terrorist organization ISIS on European countries, yesterday an emergency exercise was held for training by the Zaka unit in Belgium, in cooperation with the Jewish community.
During the exercise issues were refreshed such as emergency and treatment of casualties in a mass casualty event, handling and incident of several arenas simultaneously, as well as handling the killed, building a concentration station for the dead, preliminary emergency and identification, cooperation and connection with the emergency forces.
At the end of the day, a variety of training exercises were held in different buildings in the Jewish community, simulating different scenarios.
Mati Goldstein, commander of the international unit of Zaka: "The great tension in the air after the attacks in France and in view of the fact that the base for the terrorists was in Belgium, it is clearly felt, in streets and crowded places, that there is an increased presence of police and soldiers, and thus participation in the training and exercise and cooperation of the Jewish community, was very serious."
Yehuda Meshi Zahav, ZAKA Chairman: "Unfortunately we are witnessing a growing global terrorism, as an international organization we are investing heavily in preparedness for communities around the world to give them the required knowledge in handling emergencies."
