Bereaved family abuse: lies in court and rejection of funeral

Funeral of the boy Nethanel Yehuda Vanunu z"l, 12, who drowned last night in the pool at Hazor, was postponed until tomorrow, following a decision by the police to file a request for reconsideration of the case and eliminating dissection decision, a decision retracted later in the day by order the State Attorney's Office. Mr. Dror Shusheim intends to file a petition to the Court of Justice.

The High Court hearing will be held tomorrow in the morning or afternoon, so by the decision, the deceased will remain at the Institute of Forensic Medicine - rather than buried.

"Although the police spokesman stated that they filed an application for reconsideration of the requirement for an autopsy, it was not submitted to the court," said attorney Dror Shusheim, Zaka's legal department to behadrey haredim. "The request for reconsideration is not filed following the opposition prosecution". He estimates that "Following allegations made by a lifeguard / pool operator (things confidential AS), the Prosecutor's Office did not want to take a risk and require the autopsy of the deceased so that they can blame."

Father of the deceased, Adi Chaim Vanunu, updated on the status of the legal proceedings by a Behadrey Haredim reporter, reacted painfully "If our pain is not enough because of the death by negligence of the late beloved Nethanel, comes the judicial system and physically abused and rejects the burial procedure."
