Margi: Why don't they stop the Hardakim campaign?

Nearly a month ago Shas MK Yaakov Margi, complained to the police commissioner for "harassment and wild incitement" against the haredi soldiers, so far Danino did not respond.

The letter was sent two and a half weeks ago, on 2nd Iyar, to Police Commissioner Yohanan Danino, "My letter comes to you after numerous requests from haredi soldiers serving in the IDF and their families, accumulated at me," he wrote. "You are surely aware of the wild campaign of incitement which is reminiscent of dark periods in recent history of the Jewish people. The incitement campaign is called by the despicable name 'Hardakim', whose recent result is the attack against an IDF officer in Mea Shearim neighborhood in Jerusalem," wrote Margi to the Police Commissioner.

As reported in Behadrey Haredim, four cases are under review and examination of the State Attorney's Office. "I know that some complaints are submitted to the State Attorney's Office which claims that it is within the framework of freedom of expression. As Pelican of freedom of speech I would like to tell you that the videos that show a handful of radical haredim spitting on soldiers in uniform and calling out jeers accompanied by threatening gestures, one can test for prosecution sections other than incitement," wrote Margi.
