Livni: Netanyahu-Bennett-Haredim government will return to days of darkness

Tonight (Monday) an election campaign rally for the 'Zionist Camp' party was held in Tel Aviv, where No. 2 on the list, Tzipi Livni, referred to political and social issues, as well as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's trip to the United States.

After the conference Livni twitted that "a government of Bibi-Bennett-Haredim will bring us back to the days of darkness". Livni added, "The only chance to maintain liberalism, equality and sanity is a government under us."

Livin continued about the right of 'civil union' and declared that she will promote the law. She said: "We should establish a 'civil union' against the 'union of brothers'."

So too, in the past she stated that "I will promote the civil marriage bill that would allow all couples in Israel who can not or do not want to be married in the rabbinate, to make an alliance that would receive full recognition from the state and equal rights."

A source in United Torah Judaism responded that, "Livni arrived today and shuffled all the cards, she showed that she and Buji already understand the Haredi parties would not recommend them to the president to form a government."
